๐ŸŽฅ SoccerIQ Training Exercise - Buildup Game 7:5

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ Positional play exercise to work on building out from the back. In an octagon shape, the goalkeeper, centerbacks, fullbacks, and two central midfielders must find a way to progress forward when being pressed by five players.

This is a game-related situation which we could encounter during the weekend. The team in possession must find the free player in the field to progress.

๐Ÿ”ด If the defending (black) team presses and recovers the ball, they can quickly counterattack into the big goal.

๐Ÿง Progress this exercise by adding another player on the black (pressing) team - making it that the only free player is the goalkeeper, and he must therefore attract a defender to free up someone else.

- Add more players on the white team and make the space bigger.

- Place the mini-goals on the outside so that the progression must occur in the half or wide channels.
