🎥 Real Sociedad - Forward Movement Without the Ball

🧑‍🏫 We often times have to emphasize as coaches, and especially with younger players to move without the ball. The concept is simple - to create space for another player to occupy and take advantage of.

In this clip we can observe how two Real Sociedad players move 50-60m at high speed without the ball. This causes the defenders to have decide on which player to mark, or which space to cover. With the game being played at such a high speed, it is inevitable that some space will be open.

✅ Both center-backs are dragged out of position by forward runs without the ball, opening up a goal scoring opportunity.
