🎥 Borussia Dortmund Training Exercise - Transition 3v2 into a 1v1
🧑🏫 In a double area grid, three blue players attack with numerical advantage two yellow defenders. They must finish the play on the big goal. If the defending team recovers the ball, they can quickly counterattack in the other direction.
Immediately as the play is finished, two balls are played into the outside channels to create 1v1 situations on the mini-goals which are located on the sides. This time it is the yellow player who starts with the ball while the blue defends.
📊 Transition exercises are ideal to implement on MD-2 when you want to stimulate the speed of muscle contraction to increase performance during these types of actions.
⌛ Make sure you allow the players a full recovery (aprox. 90sec), before they perform the next action. This will ensure that it is done at maximum speed which should be the physical objective on training days such as these.
